Live video transmission over LAN, WAN, Internet to a TV set
Transmitting live video over ADSL/Optical internet connection to any location in the world. Reception over TV set. Using BLANKOM encoder and BLANKOM IPTV Set-Top Box, you can transport any HDMI or SDI or CVBS (Audio/Video) signal in real time over internet in HD quality.
You can
- push the content to any distant location from your site whenever you want it to be watched or
- you can pull the signal from a distant location whenever you want to watch it.
What is needed:
- BLANKOM IP encoder (select one)
- BLANKOM HDE-264 encoder with HDMI input for H.264 encoding
- BLANKOM ADE-264 encoder with CVBS and/or HDMI input for H.264 encoding
- BLANKOM HDE-265 encoder with HDMI input for H.264 or HEVC (H.265) encoding
- BLANKOM SDE-265 encoder with SDI input for H.264 or HEVC (H.265) encoding
- BLANKOM IPTV Set-Top-Box (STB)
- BLANKOM 6800+ IPTV STB for use with H.264 or HEVC (H.265) encoder
- internet connection on both sides. The upload and the download speeds of the internet connections must be minimum 1 Mbps for low quality, 2 Mbps for SD (standard definition TV), 4 Mbps for HDTV (720p/1080i).
Features
BLANKOM Encoder & Streamers are designed for TV signal distribution, IRENIS IPTV Set-Top Boxes (STBs) for TV signal reception in excellent quality over LAN and internet.
The H.264 compression technology features low latency and low bit rates for IPTV/OTT systems. The high-efficient bandwidth use saves bandwidth cost through all its resolution range. The HEVC (H.265) compression technology uses around 30% less bandwidth than H.264 for the transmission of the same video quality.
Distribution of SD and HD TV channels through the IPTV/OTT network using state-of-art IP technology from almost any kind of video input.

Suitable for WLAN access points use on both sides. You can optionally purchase a WLAN adapter for the BLANKOM STBs and operate it through wireless connection.
