Multiple HDMI outputs can be modulated and multiplexed into 4 DVB-C packages and at the same time into 4 MPTS IPTV streams. There is also a DVB-C tuner built in, from which also services can be selected out and included into the multiplexed packages/streams. Graphics and scrolling text can be added onto each service simultaneously. The device can be operated from anywhere on LAN, WAN or Internet.

  • HDM-8500C series includes 2 different versions:
    8 HDMI + 128 IP (UDP/RTP) + 1 DVB C input / 4 DVB-C + 4 MPTS IPTV output (HDM 8508C)
    12 HDMI + 128 IP (UDP/RTP) + 1 DVB C input / 4 DVB-C + 4 MPTS IPTV output (HDM 8512C)

Features

BLANKOM HDM 8500C series  MPEG4 AVC/H.264 HD DVB-C Modulator and IP Encoder is a professional HD audio & video encoding and multiplexing device.

It has 8 ~ 12 HDMI video input interfaces, supporting MPEG-4 video encoding and MPEG 1 Layer 2 audio encoding.

It has also IPTV input for UDP/RTP SPTS content as well as one DVB-C tuner input

This device can simultaneously encode 8 ~ 12 HDMI channel HD audio & video; the 4 internal multiplexer can multiplex the conten from HDMI inputs, DVB-C tuner and up to 128 IPTV signals into 4 different DVB-C packages. All those packages can have mirror contents as MPTS IPTV streams.

On-Screen Graphics, Scrolling Text and QR Code can be added to all of the output channels simultaneously.

In conclusion, its high integrated and cost effective design makes the device widely used in varieties of digital distribution systems such as cable TV digital head-end, satellite digital TV broadcasting etc.
